The happiness within
Its there...if we look carefully
A strangers smile
An apology after a fight
A ray of undeterred sunlight

The happiness within

A moment of calm
An old memory
A hidden coin

The happiness within
if only we knew
Rain on a reflective glass
Rainbows with the sunshine
Clouds clearing away
The brightness of a new day

The happiness within
if only we knew
Self reflection knowing oneself
Knowledge internally possessed
Striving for the road ahead

The happiness within
if only we knew
A family united
A caring gesture
Knowing someone loves you

The happiness within us all.
