What am I looking for? How do I answer that question? Words are my ink..
Someone with the same values as myself both traditional and islamic. A concept of decency where respect is paramount irrespective of age, creed or gender.
Where gender doesn't become a discriminating factor. As a woman my accomplishments are not overlooked just because his career is going places! I will be supportive but even in that role will have my own identity. I want to be in the position where living without him is not an option ...but is hoping for such a connection naive? Am I being skeptical because it always seems to happen to somebody else? Be happy for the ones who are blessed and the ones who are yet to be.. blessed?
Age is but a number -why is it repeated and challenged? Does it make me a wiser person or you less so? If traditions chalk out a different route and I have chosen another ...why is this pointed out to me like a mistake? My choices at the end of the day -are exactly that -mine!They were made for a reason ...and make me who I am. If this is unacceptable -move on.
My strong opinions make me a strong woman? or does my strength as a woman grant me these opinions? Being a mother must be the hardest thing any woman can ever undertake. To nourish, educate and bring up a child is a limitless task. I will try my best as have generations of parents before me but I am human and need his support with bringing life into the world and helping it florish.
If a womans weakness is her strength--does that make her super human?
Yes I want to do things together-travelling,talking endlessly about philosophical notions, socialise and not have that looked upon as a handicap! lets discuss the little I know of politics if it makes you happy... read...Silence should be comfortable ..and yes it does happen:P
A deep rooted desire to be needed and wanted. Is that not every human beings second oxygen?None of us want to be taken for granted but every day we see people become complacent in their relationships and forget to appreciate and value the remarkable people in their lives.
Acceptance is a magical thing. It is wanting what is infront of you whole heartedly with true acquiescence. This doesnt mean agreeing to everything or never questioning. It means an acknowledgement of being imperfect like everyone else. Your imperfections make you unique so let me see them. It is knowing and never taking advantage of them which makes acceptance truly selfless.
At the end of the day. We all have choices. I may have more or less than you and vice versa but it truly does all come down to destiny and kismet. Are we touching eachothers lives for a moment or shaping eachothers lives for the future?
I want to know how you will make changes for me? If I give up everything for you to start afresh..how will you make this transition smoother for me? Support and encourage me like you want to be supported and you may just be pleasantly suprised with what you receive in return.... I offer endless commitment and a lifelong promise of trying my hardest to make things work .. can we both pledge to give and not expect in return? I realise this is hugely easy to preach and difficult to regularly practice.. Humans are selfish by nature but ..lets start now and maybe in a few years time we'll be less human and more angel!:P
A physical attraction is important but it doesnt make me "like you" less or more in the long run. If we can't hold a conversation then your beauty pageant smile wont get you far. Excite and seduce my mind and I'll be hooked for ever.
