Old friends
Recently decided was going to get in touch with some old friends. People who had been integral parts of my life a good few years back, say when was I still a student and when I thought I knew it all. I did finally get in touch with someone -in a blast from the past think they got so unsettled by the whole "huh? who ? Where and When that it made me doubt if I was actually speaking to the correct person at all.
I think I can understand their point of view though! If you randomly hear from someone you knew ages ago and I wouldn't have been sure how much of myself I could reveal to them either-especially when they keep asking you all these questions!! the conversation was in short was- complicated! It was almost as though I was in my teens again where I had to think about what to say and how to say it. My conversation skills have thankfully improved since my teen days but it sure didnt come across that way-aaah Hehe another day in the complicated life of me! Fantastic!!!
